  Alan Dixon

  BDS BSc FDS RCS (Eng) 1991 (GDC No. 67520)

  Alan is one of the areas leading oral surgeons and works as an Associate Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon at Eastbourne District General Hospital as well as in private practice. Alan has been doing implants since 1994 and is one of the few UK dentists using the Nobel Guide System which can allow 'teeth-in-an-hour'. He is a mentor for Nobel Biocare advising other dentists on their cases and problems. Alan is also trained in the use of dermal fillers and all current anti-wrinkle treatments.

  Victoria Dixon

  BDS FDS MSc M Orth RCS (Eng) 1992 (GDC No. 68476)

  Victoria Dixon graduated as a dentist in 1992 from Guys Hospital UMDS. She did her vocational training year in Brighton and continued in general practice for a further year. In 1994 she was appointed as a Senior House Officer at Eastbourne District General Hospital gaining valuable experience in oral surgery and oral medicine. After this she worked in the Community Dental Service treating school children. Between 1997 and 2000 Victoria did her postgraduate qualification MSc in Orthodontics at Manchester University. Since then Victoria has worked in the orthodontic department at Eastbourne District General Hospital and at the practice where she is a partner.

  David Campbell

  With over 30 years experience as a general dentist, David provides a full range of restorative, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques, procedures and materials in dentistry.

  David has a calm and reassuring manner and has an established reputation for treating anxious and phobic patients. He is also qualified to provide conscious sedation for those who may require it.

  In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys cooking, travelling and playing golf.

  Claire McCoy

  BDS (NUI) Msc(Lond) (GDC No. 66613)

  Claire qualified in 1991 from University College Cork, Ireland after which she worked in General Dental Practice and took an Msc in Gerodontics at the Royal London Hospital. Claire has a special interest in Prosthetics and Cosmetic Dentistry. She is dedicated to Continuing Professional Development courses in relation to General Dental Practice.

  Alastair Mackay

  B.D.S.(Rand)

  Alastair qualified in 1987 from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, emigrating to the United Kingdom in 1989. After various Associate positions in and around London, the family relocated to Hastings where Alastair joined Battle Road Dental Practice, spending the next 26 years in General Practice, 19 as Co-Owner of 2 successful Practices. Alastair is committed to providing patient-centred general dental care with an emphasis on clear communication and understanding of patient needs. 10 years spent as an Educational Supervisor with Kent, Surrey and Sussex Post-Graduate Deanery fostered a keen interest in maintaining and developing the skillset needed to deliver effective dental care.

  Karun Pudasaini

  Dr. Karun Pudasaini graduated from Kathmandu University in 2018 and successfully completed his statutory exam in the UK in January 2025. With a strong international background, he brings both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care at Orchard Dental Practice. Karun has a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and enjoys supporting anxious or nervous patients through gentle and reassuring care. He began his dental career working in Nepal and has continued to grow his skills through hands-on experience and continuous learning. Prior to qualifying as a dentist in the UK, Karun worked for over four years as a well-regarded dental hygienist, known for his calm manner and attention to detail. He has also been actively involved in charitable dental work, having taken part in multiple voluntary outreach camps in rural Nepal. He is the founding secretary of Oral Care for Developing Countries, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving oral health access in underserved communities. Outside of dentistry, Karun enjoys photography and travelling — often capturing the places and stories he encounters through his camera lens.

  Asrar Ahmed

  BDS, MFDS RCSEng., MFDS RCSEd., FCGDent (UK), MSc Dental Implantology (Bristol), ITI Fellow Advanced Certificate in Clinical Education (Glasgow) | GDC: 109437

  Asrar is an experienced clinician with his practice limited to oral surgery and dental implants. He has been working in the South East England for over 20 years. He works part time as specialist grade doctor in the Oral & Maxillofacial surgery department of District General Hospital, Eastbourne. Asrar is a fellow, registered speaker and director of International Team for Implantology (ITI) East Sussex study club. He has presented his clinical work in implantology at a number of local and international events. He has special interest in sinus lift techniques. He has been a tutor for the Diploma in Primary Care Oral surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has been teaching dental implantology on a number of training courses. He also mentors young dentists learning dental implants. He is an examiner for MFDS and Membership in Implant Dentistry of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Asrar is a fellow and master of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is also a fellow of the College of General Dentistry (UK).
