Alan Dixon
BDS BSc FDS RCS (Eng) 1991 (GDC No. 67520)
Alan is one of the areas leading oral surgeons and works as an Associate Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon at Eastbourne District General Hospital as well as in private practice. Alan has been doing implants since 1994 and is one of the few UK dentists using the Nobel Guide System which can allow 'teeth-in-an-hour'. He is a mentor for Nobel Biocare advising other dentists on their cases and problems. Alan is also trained in the use of dermal fillers and all current anti-wrinkle treatments.
Victoria Dixon
BDS FDS MSc M Orth RCS (Eng) 1992 (GDC No. 68476)
Victoria Dixon graduated as a dentist in 1992 from Guys Hospital UMDS. She did her vocational training year in Brighton and continued in general practice for a further year. In 1994 she was appointed as a Senior House Officer at Eastbourne District General Hospital gaining valuable experience in oral surgery and oral medicine. After this she worked in the Community Dental Service treating school children. Between 1997 and 2000 Victoria did her postgraduate qualification MSc in Orthodontics at Manchester University. Since then Victoria has worked in the orthodontic department at Eastbourne District General Hospital and at the practice where she is a partner.
Claire McCoy
BDS (NUI) Msc(Lond) (GDC No. 66613)
Claire qualified in 1991 from University College Cork, Ireland after which she worked in General Dental Practice and took an Msc in Gerodontics at the Royal London Hospital. Claire has a special interest in Prosthetics and Cosmetic Dentistry. She is dedicated to Continuing Professional Development courses in relation to General Dental Practice.
Alex Lass
BDS 1994 Brazil (GDC No. 124730)
Alex originally graduated in Brazil in 1994 and in the UK in 2008 through the International Qualifying Examination (IQE). Since then he has practiced in Brighton and Horam. Alex joined the prestigious team at Harbour Orthodontic Centre in December 2013 and is working hard to provide good, family orientated General Dentistry, with a special focus on nervous patients. He has a special interest on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, such as tooth coloured fillings, teeth whitening, veneers and crowns. He has been living in the UK since 2003 in the lovely countryside where he loves spending quality time with his wife and daughter and in his spare time some Bossa Nova singing and kickboxing training.
Jan Smerke

Jan qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1979 and furthered his knowledge by gaining an MSc. in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan, one of the Worlds foremost centers of excellence in occlusion, in 1982. Initially practicing in London’s West End, he moved to Sussex where he has been in practice since 1988. He now carries out a mixture of family dentistry and combines this with more complex restorative cases.
